Year 5 Brecon Beacons Trip

Our Year 5 pupils recently enjoyed an unforgettable weekend of adventure as they travelled to the stunning Brecon Beacons for a camping trip filled with challenge, teamwork and discovery.

Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, the children embraced the opportunity to step outside their comfort zones, building confidence and resilience along the way. From setting up camp to working together in the great outdoors, every moment offered valuable life experiences and plenty of laughter.

The highlight of the weekend was a hike up Pen y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales. With determination and encouragement from one another, they reached the summit, taking in the incredible views and celebrating a shared sense of achievement.

Throughout the trip, the children strengthened friendships, supported one another through challenges and created lasting memories. It was a truly rewarding experience, showcasing the importance of perseverance, teamwork and embracing new adventures beyond the classroom.
