In the true sense of the word ‘preparatory’, Barfield offers children the broadest range of opportunities, in readiness for their next step in education, and in life.
Our academic goal is to prepare our pupils for entry into the most suited senior school at 11+. Preparation for 11+ Entrance Examinations focuses on English, Mathematics and Reasoning.
Barfield School believes that its Curriculum is always evolving. This has afforded us the opportunity to develop a Lifelong Learning Programme that ensures our children are equipped mentally and physically with the essential skills for life.
Whether within the Academic subject areas, the Life Skills and Outdoor Learning Programme or through other cross-curricular programmes, the children develop a genuine love of learning and this forms an important platform for their future education and life. The rapport between the teaching staff and the children creates a healthy environment for pushing learning boundaries.
