We are incredibly proud to share the exceptional 11+ outcomes achieved by our Year 6 pupils this year. Their success is a true reflection of the determination, resilience and positivity they have shown throughout the process.

At Barfield, our priority is always to support each child in finding the right senior school fit—both academically and pastorally. This year’s results demonstrate just how successfully that goal has been achieved, with every pupil securing offers that will enable them to flourish in the next stage of their education.

The headline figures speak for themselves. Our pupils received an impressive 57 offers from 17 different senior schools, with an average of 2.2 offers per child. Almost half of the cohort—12 pupils—were awarded scholarships, contributing to a remarkable total of 21 scholarships overall, the highest number in the school’s history.

These scholarships span a wide range of disciplines, including Academic, Drama, Sport, Art and Design Technology, highlighting the breadth of talent within the year group. In addition, two pupils were recognised with Academic Extended Learning Pathways, further reflecting the strength of academic achievement across the cohort.

As our Year 6 pupils prepare to embark on their next exciting chapter, we are confident they will continue to thrive, embrace new opportunities and make a positive impact within their new school communities.
