Owlets
This is where our young learners, aged 2-3, start to spread their wings and take flight. Owlets is the second stage of our Nursery, offering a bright and stimulating environment which continues to focus on of all seven areas of your child’s development in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Light & Airy Classrooms
We have two Owlets classrooms, both light and airy, which open up onto the same free-flow enclosed outdoor area, allowing the children to mix and extend their friendship groups. The Owlets spend most of their time in their classrooms with their key workers or enjoying our extensive grounds. They also enjoy weekly PE lessons with their key workers, Music lessons with our Director of Music, and French with our Head of Languages. Every other week the children participate in swimming lessons in our indoor heated pool and Forest Schools.
Age-Appropriate Topics
Over the course of the year, we cover several age-appropriate topics, including People who help us, Colours, Space, Minibeasts and Transport and the children are also full of their own ideas and interests that we incorporate into our planning of activities. The children benefit from popular outings to Little Street and Birdworld during the Autumn and Summer Term and throughout the year, the children are involved in fun events across the school. The children also have regular contact with the older children in the EYFS, especially during the summer term, to ensure a smooth transition to Owls. We ask for our Owlets to attend Nursery for a minimum of four sessions a week.

Pupils embark on exciting new journeys at the end of Year 6, heading to a diverse range of top senior schools, both day and boarding.
