Hatchlings
Their First Flight
Just like the young birds preparing to take their first flight, our Hatchlings are nurtured and guided to spread their wings and soar high. We aim to create a bright and stimulating environment designed to encourage all the seven areas of your child’s development in the Early Years Foundation Stage, but to particularly focus on the prime areas of communication and language, physical development and personal, social and emotional development.
Resources For Development
The classroom contains a wide range of resources to encourage your child’s development, through exploration, investigation, questioning and play using all their senses. There is free access from the classroom to an enclosed outdoor area, with an array of equipment and the children are encouraged to use the outdoor area as often as possible.
Beyond Barfield
Pupils embark on exciting new journeys at the end of Year 6, heading to a diverse range of top senior schools, both day and boarding.
