Together, we foster a nurturing environment where every child feels supported and valued. Our team of dedicated and passionate teachers is at the heart of what makes Barfield so special. From the Nursery and Lower School to the Upper School, we are fortunate to have skilled, caring professionals committed to helping each child thrive academically and personally.

Led by our Headmaster, Mr Andrew Boyle, alongside our Deputy Head, Mrs Christina Tupper and together with the Senior Leadership Team, they work tirelessly to ensure the school runs smoothly, always with the children’s best interests at heart.

The Nursery offers a home from home environment and small class sizes ensure the Nursery staff know the children (and their families) really well and are able to nurture and encourage them. The individual needs of each child are met through targeted play based learning. Barfield Nursery is a private nursery which is part of Barfield Prep School in Farnham, Surrey.

In the Lower School, our carefully selected class teachers provide a warm and supportive foundation, offering not only academic guidance but also social and emotional care. As children progress to the Upper School, they are supported by form tutors and heads of year, with academic progress overseen by subject teachers and heads of department. This holistic approach ensures that every child’s journey is filled with encouragement, opportunity, and success.
